Introduction

Skoped is currently in closed beta. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. We believe in being transparent about our data practices and keeping things simple.

Data We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information — your email address and name
  • Usage data — session activity and interaction patterns
  • Project content — PRDs, Implementation Guides, and related chat history that you create and save within Skoped
  • Feedback — ratings and comments you provide about your experience
  • Technical data — browser type, error logs, and similar technical information

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide the Skoped service, generate your PRDs and Implementation Guides, and store your saved projects so you can access and resume them
  • Improve the product based on feedback and usage patterns
  • Communicate with you about the beta program

We do NOT sell your data to third parties.

Your Content

PRDs, Implementation Guides, and other content you create in Skoped belong to you. We store this content solely to provide the service — saving your work so you can access and resume it. We do not use your project content to train AI models or share it with other users.

Your project descriptions and chat messages are processed by trusted third-party AI services (such as Anthropic's Claude) to generate PRDs and Implementation Guides. Under our commercial agreements with these providers, your data is not used to train their AI models.

Third-Party Services

Skoped uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • AI services (such as Anthropic's Claude) — processes your project descriptions to generate PRDs and Implementation Guides
  • Cloud database services — securely stores your account data, saved projects (including PRDs, Implementation Guides, and chat history), and usage data
  • Google Analytics — tracks anonymous usage patterns to help us improve the product
  • Cloud hosting services — hosts and delivers the application

Data Retention

Your saved projects, including PRDs, Implementation Guides, and chat history, are retained while your account is active. You can delete individual projects from your dashboard at any time. If you would like to delete all of your data, including your account, you can request full deletion by contacting us at the email below.
